After a long drive from Kuala Lumpur, we finally arrived at Home Stay Tok Wan, and I was pleasantly surprised by how close it is to the jetty - a perfect spot for catching the boat to Perhentian the next morning. the host was super accommodating, waiting up for us and even offering extra pillows and blankets for our group, which made us feel right at home. the rooms were clean, neat, and spacious enough for our crew, though I did wish the bathrooms had a bit more ventilation. All in all, it's an ideal stopover for digital nomads like us - comfortable space, great connectivity to local eateries, and a friendly vibe. I can see myself returning, maybe next time with a larger group to explore the beautiful islands!
